Swimming Pool Groundwater Sump Pump

 Noise

As it a pump under your patio next to the pool you might hear the pump turning on and off depending how much ground water there is

You will also hear the Water being Pumped down the pipes to wherever the groundwater is pumped

Discharge water

The Water that is Discharged is required to go into Main Drainage

The Discharge water can be very dirty and Cloudy white due to the Limescale in the ground and around all the cement around the pool backfill

The amount of Water the pump will discharge is very known but it would be as much as 360m3 of water in 24 hours 

Do not pump ground water into the garden it needs to go into Main Drainage

Service

As the pump is in limescale ground water all the time the pump will need to be Check and Cleaned Monthly to ensure no limescale is building up on the pump, if it is this will need to be cleaned off

Life Expectancy

The Ground water pump could be running for many hours a day and turning on and off which will reduce the life expectancy of the pump a lot, so it might need replacing yearly

Warranty

The Pumps do come with 1 year manufacturer warranty but if the pump has not been serviced monthly or is covered in limescale then the warranty in void
