Waterstream is the exclusive UK distributor of Compass Ceramic Pools, based in Coolham, West Sussex. We're a team of over 50, and unlike many in our industry, we don't use sub-contractors, every pool we install and service is handled by our own people. That means the standard of our work rests entirely on the standard of our team, and we invest in it accordingly.

Working in the swimming pool industry

The pool industry offers more variety than people expect. Behind every installation is a team pulling together across very different disciplines, from the sales consultants who guide clients through their investment, to the project managers keeping builds on track, the install and production teams turning designs into reality, and the field service engineers and office-based aftercare staff who look after pools for years afterwards.

Add in marketing, warehouse operations, and admin and finance functions that keep the whole business running, and there's a genuine range of career paths, whether you're hands-on, client-facing, or working behind the scenes. Swimming Pool Engineer

We are not simply looking to fill vans. We want to build the strongest pool engineering team in the UK.


Compass Pools by Waterstream is looking for experienced, UK-based pool engineers who take real pride in​ doing the job properly. We are the UK’s largest one-piece pool installer, with more than 800 pools installed. That scale means our engineers work on some of the most interesting domestic pool projects in the country, supported by an established business that continues to invest heavily in its people, systems and technology.


The best engineers deserve an environment where they can do their best work:

You may already work in the swimming-pool industry, be self-employed, or have transferable experience in pumps, controls, heating, water treatment, electrical systems or commercial leisure.
