During our Annual Service, we thoroughly inspect the following areas, addressing common issues that may arise:
- Seals: Over time, seals can perish, leading to leaks. We ensure they are in good condition.
- Pumps: We check for overheating and ensure the pumps are running smoothly.
- Electrics: We inspect all electrical connections for any loose connections or faulty items.
- Filtration: We verify that the multi-port valves and sand filter are functioning correctly.
- Ball Valve and Pipework: We look for small leaks or valves that may not be closing properly, as these can cause damage.
- Accessories: We check the UV systems, auto-dosing equipment, cleaning robots, auto top-up systems, and other accessories.
- Heating System: We inspect the heating system’s electrics and check for any signs of damage.
- Covers: We assess the condition of the cover motor and slats.
- Returns, Main Drains, and Vacuum Lines: We check for cracks and other potential issues.
- Lights: We inspect lights for water damage or cracks.
Water Testing
During the visit, we conduct a digital water test to ensure the water quality meets the standards required to maintain your Compass Ceramic Pool Shell warranty. If any adjustments are needed, we will correct the water levels on-site.
When Can the Service Be Carried Out?
The Annual Service can be performed whether your pool is cold or hot.
After the Visit
Once the service is complete, we will review the Annual Report prepared by our Engineer and provide you with the following:
- Warranty Work: Any faults found that are covered under warranty will be repaired at no additional cost.
- Compass Free Upgrade: We periodically update certain items, primarily related to health and safety, at no charge.
- Required Repair Work: We recommend replacing certain items, such as seals, to ensure your pool continues to operate smoothly.
- Suggested Work: We may identify items that, while not critical, are not in perfect condition—such as cleaning covers—that could benefit from attention.
